1. What Boat Net is
Boat Net is an intermediation platform operated by BOAT NET TECNOLOGIA E INTERMEDIAÇÃO LTDA. We connect people interested in boats, tours, nautical services and marina berths with partners who offer those products and services.
2. Who can use it
You must be 18 or older with full legal capacity. Partners need an active company registration or professional licence compatible with the activity offered, plus the licences required by Brazilian maritime law.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity carried out under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
We may suspend or close accounts with false information, signs of fraudulent use or breach of these Terms.
4. Verified partners
The verified partner badge means we reviewed the documents submitted by the partner and that they were in order at the time of review.
5. How an order works
- You choose an offer and place an order.
- The partner accepts or declines.
- Once accepted, payment is processed.
- The service is delivered under the conditions shown in the offer.
- Once delivered, the order is closed.
The specific conditions of each offer — date, time, duration, what is included, number of people, meeting point and cancellation rules — are set by the partner and shown before you confirm.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Boat Net does not store full card details.
By confirming an order you authorise the charge of the total amount shown. In some flows the amount is authorised when the order is placed and captured only when the partner confirms delivery.
Accepted payment methods are shown in the app and may vary by service type.
7. How Boat Net is paid
Boat Net charges an intermediation fee on transactions made through the platform. The percentage varies by service type, offer category and the terms agreed with each partner.
For partners, the applicable commercial terms — percentages, transfer schedules and any fixed fees — are set out in the partnership agreement signed with Boat Net.
8. Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation rules for each offer are set by the partner and shown before booking. Read them before confirming.
Right of withdrawal
Under article 49 of the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code, you may withdraw from a booking within 7 calendar days of purchase, provided the service has not yet been delivered.
Refunds
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method. The time to credit depends on your card issuer and is outside Boat Net’s control.
No-show
If either party fails to attend at the agreed time and place, the conditions shown in the offer at the time of booking apply.
Cancellation by the partner
If a partner cancels a service you have already paid for, you are entitled to a full refund, without prejudice to other rights granted by law.
9. Disputes
If something does not go as agreed, open a support conversation from the order itself in the app. Boat Net will mediate between you and the partner, with access to the full history.
Mediation by Boat Net does not remove your right to turn to consumer protection bodies or the courts.

11. Published content
Partners are responsible for the content of their listings. By publishing, the partner declares they hold the rights to the images and information and authorises Boat Net to display them on the platform and in platform promotional material.
We may remove, without prior notice, content that is illegal, misleading, offensive, infringes third-party rights or breaches these Terms.
12. Misuse
It is prohibited to use the platform to: circumvent the payment process, book outside the platform services discovered through it, publish false information, discriminate, harass other users, scrape data automatically, or attempt to compromise system security.
13. Support
Boat Net support happens inside the app, in our own chat, which preserves the context and history of your journey. See the Support page.
14. Closing your account
You may close your account at any time in the app. Orders in progress must be completed or cancelled first. See Delete my account.
We may close accounts that breach these Terms, with prior notice whenever possible.
15. Availability
We work to keep the platform available, but it may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical failures or events beyond our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. Material changes will be communicated at least 15 days in advance in the app or by email. Continued use after that period means acceptance of the new version.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of São Paulo/SP are elected to settle disputes, without prejudice to the consumer’s right to sue in their own place of residence.
